Question

Reproduction is production of new organisms from the existing ones of the same species. While regeneration is getting back a full organism from its body part. so in regeneration no organism is produced (usually). then is it still a method of reproduction?

Yes regeneration is a type of asexual reproduction in the case of some lower group of animals such as in Hydra which can give rise to a new individual from its fragmented part. However, it cannot be considered as a type of reproduction in higher groups because in them it only regenerates the lost body part such as in lizard which has the capability to regenerate its lost tail.
