Role of pastoralists in coastal areas and desert areas
The pastorals moved to coastal areas or deserts to adjust to the seasonal changes.
The pastorals moved to coastal areas in search of better pastures and grains. Mostly in dry seasons pastorals would move to coastal areas. But the sheep could not bear the wet climate and they had to come back to the dry plateaus.
Usually pastorals in deserts combined farming with pastures since finding a pastureland in deserts was difficult. Most pastures came during the time of monsoons towards the deserts.
