We know, v = νλ
⇒ v = 320 0.25
⇒ v = 80 m/s
Distance travelled by sound wave in 10 s is given by,
⇒ d = vt
⇒ d = 8010 = 800 m
(2) Speed of sound wave, v = 336 m/s
Wavelength, λ = 3 cm = 0.03 m
Frequency of sound wave, ν = …..?
We know, v = νλ
⇒ 336 = 0.03 ν
⇒ ν = 11200 Hz
Frequency of sound, 11200 Hz, is in audible range.
