Yes, all the mosquito related diseases like malaria, dengue, etc are caused because of female mosquito. Only female mosquitoes bite, and male mosquitoes live on the sugar found in plant nectar, not on blood. But there is a reason why females suck blood. Proteins in the blood are necessary to produce fertile eggs. Since males do not produce eggs so they have no need for blood. But females suck blood of humans to supplement substances such as protein and iron to develop their eggs.
