The factors that can affect human health can be divided into two categories – intrinsic and extrinsic factors.
Intrinsic factors are the diseases causing factors present inside the body. They are allergy, malfunctioning of body parts, hereditary diseases, hormonal imbalance etc.
The external factors that cause diseases are known as extrinsic factors. They are infections by microbes, environmental pollution, nutritional disorder etc.
