Solution

The organs that are responsible for filtration of blood are the kidneys. The blood gets filtered by the numerous small units called nephron present inside the kidneys. The unwanted materials like urea, ammonia excess water etc gets absorbed by the nephron and are stored inside urinary bladder as urine. Pure blood again enters into the circulatory system. The mechanism for filtering blood by nephrons is ultrafiltration.
