Exception of metal

All metals have generally solid, but mercury is the only metal which is liquid at room temperature.
All the metals are very hard but exception are sodium and potassium. They are very soft and even cut from knife.
Exception of non- metal

Non- metal are not shiny and have dull appearance, but iodine is exception. It is lustrous.
Non-metals are generally bad conductor of heat and electricity. But exceptions are diamond(good conductor of heat) and graphite (good conductor of electricity)
