Here,

R1=40 ohm,R2=60ohm and R3=90ohm

Let the effective resistance=R

For parallel combination,

1/R=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3

1/R=1/40+1/60+1/90

On solving,we get

R=18.9 ohm
