v = (4 - t) m/s
now at t = 0s
v = u = 4 m/s
and at t = 6s
v = (4-6)m/s = -2m/s

and acceleration
a = (v - u) / (6-0)
or
a = (-2 - 4)/6 = -1 m/s2

thus, distance travelled by it in 6 seconds will be
s = (v² - u²)/2a
or
s = (-2² - 4²) / (2 x -1)
thus, we get
s = (4 - 16) / -2
or
s = 6m
