What are the constituents of peptidoglycan present in the cell wall of a bacterial cell??

Cell wall of true bacteria uniquely consist of peptidoglycan/ murein or mucopeptide . Peptidoglycan is made of peptide portion plus glycan or sugar portion which consist of amino sugars. Amino sugars are N-acetyl-glucosamine (NAG) and N-acetylmuramic acid (NA) which are joined together by B1-4 linkages.
