What are the different valves present in the heart and where are they located in the heart ?

The human heart is composed of valves namely the mitral valve, semilunar valve and the last - the tricuspid valve.

Tricuspid valve: Present between the right atria and the right ventricle

Bicuspid (mitral) valve: Present between the left atria and the left ventricle

Semilunar valves: Guard the openings of the right and the left ventricles into the pulmonary artery and the aorta respectively. Either of two valves present in the heart, found in the pulmonary artery (pulmonary valve) and in the aorta (aortic valve).
