The conditions that led to the establishment of the East India Company were:

i) After Aurangzeb, the mughal rule had considerably weakened and had led way to many people trying to capture power at various places.

ii) There were many foreign invasions and one such group were the Englishmen who came to India for its massive wealth and power. The ruler of England, Queen Elizabeth I granted the company a charter to trade in east. They started trading after the Mughals allowed them the right to trade and hence, the East India Company was established.
