Question

what happen if there were no force of friction?

Open in App
Solution

In the absence of friction:
You won’t be able to walk on the road or any surface. You won’t be able to hold a pen to write anything on paper. You would be able to push or pull any heavy object on the floor or any surface. Car won’t stop even if you apply the brakes. There would be no loss of energy due to heating up of engine parts by friction.
Therefore friction is necessary in our life although it makes many works difficult.
