Vegetative propagation is a mode of asexual reproduction in plants where the vegetative parts such as roots, leaves, stems, etc. are used to propagate the plants.

Apomixis is a form of asexual reproduction in which seeds are produced. However, apomictic seeds are not the result of fertilization.

Cell division is the process by which the cell divides into two or more daughter cells.

Plant tissue culture is a techniques of growing plant cells, tissues in a sterilized nutrient media. Aim of the tissue culture is to produce exact copies of plants that produce particularly good flowers, fruits, etc. It is also performed to produce many plants from small parent material in short period of time .
