The water which is found beneath the surface of earth at some depth is called as ground water. This ground water is used for many purposes like farming and drinking. Recharge of ground water means refilling of the ground water again to its original level. The main source of ground water refilling is rain. When the rain water or water from other sources seeps inside the ground and get collected the ground water level gets recharged.
