Question

what is the difference between no work done and zero work done??

Open in App
Solution

No work done is same as the zero work done. There is not any difference between them.
Whenever a force acts on an object and make the object to move in the direction of applied force, then it is said that the work has done on that object by the applied force. However, when there is no displacement in the direction of the applied force, no work is said to be done, i.e., work done is zero, when displacement of the object in the direction of the force is zero.
