Question

what is the mass of a mole of molecule of fluorine molecule?

Open in App
Solution

The molar mass of fluorine atom is 19g. Since fluorine exists as a diatomic molecule (i.e. two atoms of fluorine combine to form a molecule of fluorine which is denoted by F2), the mass of one mole of fluorine molecule (or the molar mass of fluorine molecule) will be 19 X 2 = 38 g
