What plans does anne have for her future? What does these plans say about her charecter and persomality?
Anne hoped to pursue journalism after the war because she knew she was good at writing. She considered few of her stories to be good,the descriptions of the annex to be humourous and much of her diary contained writings that were vivid and alive. Anne also considered herself to be the best and harshest critic of her own works, as she could judge for herself what was good and what wasn't. It shows that Anne was ambitious, she wanted much more from life and was prepared to work for it. She needed something more than a husband and children, or live in vain like most people, she wanted to be useful or bring enjoyment to everyone,even those she had never met. She wanted to contribute in such a way that she would be remembered after her death and the diary that she wrote is testimony to her having accomplished this task. She appreciated the gift of writing that had been bestowed on her and strove to develop herself and express everything that was inside her,if not for a readership then for herself.
