When body move with uniform or constant velocity , acceleration of the body is zero.
Force = mass. acceleration
F = 0
If there is a friction force acts on the body and we want the body to keep moving, then applied force should be equal to the fictional force, so that net force acting on the body is zero and body will move with uniform or constant velocity.
