where do translation and transcription occur?

Open in App
Solution

In Eukaryotes transcription occurs in the nucleus and the RNA then enters in the cytoplasm where translation takes place. But in prokaryotes like Bacteria there is no distinct nucleus , So both transcription and translation occurs in the cytoplasm and are coupled.
