Spindle fiber is formed in plant cell during cell division. In plants, the spindle is composed of microtubules and proteins present in the cytoplasm of the cell. This spindle appears during prophase stage of cell division. The centromere part of each chromosome gets attached to the equatorial region of the spindle.
