Question

which one is more stronger inter molecule or intera molecule and why?

Open in App
Solution

Generally, intramolecular forces are stronger than inter molecular forces because, the intramolceular forces are applied within the atoms of same molecule but the intermolecular forces are applied between two molecules and it is because, the intramolecular forces involve chemical bondings which requires much energy to break but the intermolecular forces are between two distant molecule which have less attraction and easier to break.
