Guru Arjun Dev was arrested, tortured, was made to sit on a burning hot sheet by the Mughals at Lahore. He was sentenced to death by Emperor Jahangir. Guru Arjun Dev was asked to bathe in river Ravi ,as he dipped he never came out and his body was never found.
