why aren't centrosome and lysosome present in the plant cell?

Open in App
Solution

  • Earlier it was assumed that Lysosomes are found in animal cells but very rarely found in a plant cell. Current evidences prove that lysosomes are indeed found in plant cells.
  • Centrosomes are found in animal cells and are the site of microtubule initiation. Plants do not have centrosomes and use other microtuble organizing centers to organize their microtubules.
