why does tRNA bind both amino acid and mRNA codon during protein synthesis?

Solution

Because tRNA has a site for the attachment of both amino acid and codon. tRNA is a only medium through which an amino acid can reach the mRNA and codon can be recognised.
tRNA recognise the codon in the mRNA by using its anticodon and bring the amino acid for that codon.
