Question

Why haven't sientists yet found out a vaccine for AIDS

Open in App
Solution

Even after extensive research there has not been an effective cure for AIDS. This is because HIV virus undergoes mutation while copying its DNA, so every time the virus replicates (copies its DNA), the outer structure (virus coats) changes its structure. As they are continually changing their structure, vaccines against them thus can not be made.
