Although every citizen has been given the right to approach courts for justice, in reality it is difficult for the majority to access courts and seek justice. This is because of various reasons -

1. Literacy levels are low among the people.
2. Paperwork and legal procedures involve lot of time and money.
3. Majority of people who earn meagre wages can not afford money or time on legal procedures.
4. Lack of awareness on legal rights among people.
5. Fear of the powerful.
