Why is resistivity of alloys more than its constituent metals?

Alloys have larger resistivity than that of its constituent elements because alloys have better properties than that of metals. Resistivity is the property of the material that defines that how strongly the material opposes the flow of electrons in to it. Higher the resistivity smaller will the conductivity. So alloys are so manufactured that they don't allow the flow of electrons through them. Also, resistivity depends upon the temperature, resistivity of pure metal increases as the temperature increases but the resistivity of alloy decreases as the temperature increases.
