The heart rate depends highly upon the activity of our body. When our age is lesser, our body remains highly active. As we grow older we gradually enter into a sedentary life. Though we work or perform activities but that is not same compared to a small child’s activity. More over the body weight also increases as we grow old which also includes fat deposition. For all these reasons heart beat decreases with the increasing age of a person.
