Solution
Pimples are caused due to hormonal imbalance during adolescence. Pimples occurs due to the blockage of pores and follicles present on face by sebum, an oily liquid secreted from the sebaceous (oil) glands. When these follicles get blocked, it results in the accumulation of oil under the skin, which causes the dead cells to clump together, forming a plug at the opening of the pore which blocks the movement of oil to the surface of the skin resulting in the formation of pimples.
