1) Nizam-ul-Mulk Asaf Jah, the founder of Hyderabad state already had full control over the political and financial administration of Deccan.
2) Although he was still a servant of the Mughal emperor, he ruled quite independently without seeking any direction from Delhi or facing any interference.
3) The Mughal Emperor could merely confirm the decisions already taken by the Nizam.
4) Thus the state of Hyderabad repeatedly engaged in struggle.
