Why water at room temperature is a liquid? Give reasons.

Dear student!
Water can transform to vapor phase at 100 °C and to solid at 0°C but the room temperature is from standard 25 °C to 40°C maximum so, there is no sufficient energy to convert it into other phases and so it exists as liquid at room temperature.
