write a short note about the features of non-ferrous , non-metalic , and rock minerals ?

1. Non Ferrous minerals are metallic minerals. They do not contain iron.For eg, gold, silver, copper and lead.

2. Non-metallic minerals are minerals that provide a non-metallic lustre or shine in their appearance. They do not contain extractable metals in their chemical composition.For eg. limestone, mica and gypsum.

3. In igneous and metamorphic rocks minerals occur in crevices, faults or joints. The smaller occurrences are called veins and larger ones are called lodes.Minerals like in, copper, zinc etc are found from veins and lodes.
