Solution

The correct option is B Rs 13.50

Let the required price per kg be Rs. x. Then,

C.P. of 60 kg rice = Rs.(30×17.50+30×x)=Rs.(525+30x).

S.P. of 60 kg rice = (60×18.60)=Rs.1116.

1116(525+30x)525+30x×100=20

59130x525+30x=15

2955150x=525+30x

x=2430180=272=13.50Rs.

So the C.P. of second lot is 13.50 RS.
