Solution

Dear Student,

Pea plants with Round and green seeds (Ry) are crossed with wrinkled and yellow seed (rY) bearing pea plants. When they are crossed, the F1 generation obtained Round yellow :
Ry X rY

RrYy(Round Yellow)

We conclude that the traits are inherited independently. The traits which expresses itself are called dominant trait and the other trait which is unable to express is called recessive trait.
