Solution

The correct option is C y = x + 7
Given coordinates are:
(-7, 0), (0, 7), (7, 14), (14, 21).

The Y- coordinate in each ordered pair:
0 = - 7 + 7; 7 = 0 + 7; 14 = 7 + 7; 21 = 14 + 7
In each pair, the Y- coordinate is 7 more than the X- coordinate. The coordinates of each point have the same relationship between them. All the points plotted lie on a line.
In such a case, when all the points plotted lie on a line, we say ‘a linear pattern’ exists.Therefore, the linear pattern can be denoted by the algebraic equation y = x + 7.
