Plot the points 𝑨 (𝟒, 𝟒) and 𝑩 (−𝟒, 𝟒) on the Cartesian coordinates. Join the lines 𝑶𝑨, 𝑶𝑩 and 𝑩𝑨. What figure do you obtain?

Solution
First we have to plot both the points A and B and then join them with origin O.
Let's take the first point (4, 4).
We will go 4 units to the right on the x- axis.
upwards on the y-axis and mark point A on it.
Similarly, take the second point (-4, 4).
Starting from the origin we will go 4 units to the left on the x- axis.
From here, we will go 4 units upwards and mark point B on it.
Now join OA, OB and BA. this figure is a triangle.
