  1. Diarrhea is an infection caused by consumption of contaminated food and water.
  2. Symptoms are loose motions with stomach pain.

Polio drops:

  1. Polio drops are the oral medications.
  2. If the child suffering from diarrhea is given polio drops, due to the frequent loose motions the medication will not work and will be directly excreted out.
  3. Therefore, polio drops are not given to children suffering from diarrhea.
