Given-
PQRS is a rectangle inscribed in the quadrant of a circle of radius 13cm. i.e SQ=13cm.
Also PS=5cm.
A is any point on PQ.
To find out-
The staement A(ΔPAS)=30cm2 is true or false
Solution-
PQRS is a rectangle with diagonal SQ=13cm.
SP2+PQ2=SQ2
PQ=PQ2SP2
PQ=13252cm=12cm
A(ΔPAS)=12×SP×PA=12×5×PA=2.5PA
Now, A is a point on PQ
PA or >12PQ
A(ΔPAS)=2.5PQ or >2.5×1212cm2 or >15cm2
So, A(ΔPAS) may or may not be =30cm2
