Reaction of aniline with bromine in non-polar solvent:

The products formed in the reaction of aniline with bromine in non-polar solvent such as $C S_{2} is 2, 4, 6 - Tribromoaniline.$

$- N H_{2}$ group is highly activating because of which it increase the electron densities at ortho and para positions to great extent. Therefore, it directs $- B r$ at ortho and para positions, simultaneously giving $2, 4, 6 - Tribromoaniline .$
