The correct option is A 2031 V
Current passing throught the circuit,

i=εr+R1+R

Substituting the values, we have

i=21+20+10

i=231 A

Potential difference across wire AB,

VAB=iR=231×10

VAB=2031 volts

Maximum potential which we can measure by it is equal to the potential drop across wire AB = 2031 volts

Hence, option (A) is the correct answer.
