Protected forests:

  1. Endangered wild animals are protected in their natural habitat i.e., forests and this in-situ conservation method is called protected forest.
  2. Generally, almost all protected forests are tourist places and tourists come to these areas frequently.
  3. Some activities of these tourists can cause problems for wild animals.
  4. Illegal hunting (poaching), throwing of non-degradable wastes etc., can cause serious problems to animals.
  5. Hence protected forests are not completely safe for wild animals.
  6. We have to strictly follow the laws to avoid these types of illegal activities.
