Dear student,
Climate plays a very important role in the distribution of population and vegetation. The regions which have extremes of climate i.e, very cold or very hot will have lower density of population. These may include the Sahara desert, the Russian Polar regions, and Antarctica. An area with moderate climate and moderate rainfall attracts more population. Such areas are suitable for practising occupations like agriculture and trade. In India. the Ganga Brahmaputra Valley is densely populated compared to the Thar Desert area.
Regards.
