Q.):- Differentiate between bacterial cell and onion peel cell on the basis of size, number of chromosomes, nucleus, cell organalles and cell division.

Bacteria's are the most primitive prokaryotic organisms, made up of single cell. Bacterial cell do not contains any nucleus nor it has any membrane bound organelles like chloroplast . DNA is found in central region of cell. Its mode of reproduction is asexual through binary fission.

Plants are the eukaryotic organisms, made up of many cells. Plant cell contains a well defined nucleus that contains DNA- the genetic material. Plants have other membrane bound organelles also like chloroplast. They reproduce mainly by sexual reproduction.
