Let us write 120 as the product of 3 numbers =1×1×120,1×2×60,1×3×40,.....,
We need factors that are closest to each other 3×5×8,4×5×6
In case of 4×5×6 No of cuts =(41)+(51)+(61)=12
In case of 3×5×8No. of cuts=(31)+(51)+(81)=13 Therefore, minimum number of cuts required =12
