Q. Ram is 10 years older than Rahim. After 4 years, twice of Rahim's age will be equal to thrice of Rahim's age. Find their present ages.
So, the starting equation will be 2(x+10+4) = 3(x+4) or 2(x+10+4) = 3(x)

Please check your question. I assume you mean twice Ram's age will be 3 times Rahim' s age.
Let Rahim's present age = x years
Then Ram's present age = x+10 years
After 4 uears, Rahim's age will be x+4 and Ram's age will be x+10+4
So our equation is:
2(x+10+4) = 3(x+4)
=> 2(x+14) =3x+12
=>2x+28 = 3x+12
=> 3x-2x= 28-12
=> x = 16
So Rahim's present age is 16 and Ram's present age is 16+10 = 26 Answer: Rahim 16 years and Ram 26 years
