What is menstruation? Explain.

Menstruation is the process of shedding of the uterine lining on a regular monthly basis in women. During menstruation, the uterus wall along with blood vessels begins to disintegrate and break off from it's inner wall and is expelled out. This menstrual flow lasts for three to four days in a month.
