Solution

Dear Student

1. The process of formation of one or more new species from the existing one by evolutionary means is known as speciation.

2. According to Darwin's theory of evolution., natural selection may be defined as the process by which the organisms which are better adaptive to a particular kind of environment tends to survive, leading in the elimination of the organism less adaptive to that environment. These organisms are naturally selected reproduce to pass on their genetic qualities suitable to that environment making their species best suitable to that particular environment.

3. Genetic drift may be defined as the change in the frequency of the alleles of a gene in a given population. This may be either due to natural selection or due to any other event which occurs in a particular environment.
