Solution

Selling price of each cooler = Rs. 3990
Let Rs. x be the cost price of both coolers for Ashime.
If Ashima gets 5% gain on transaction of first cooler.
Then, 3990=x+x×5100 [profit=SPCP]3990=21x20x=3990×2021=190×20=Rs.3800
Also, on the another transaction of other cooler she has a loss of 5%.
Then, 3990 = xx×5100 [ loss = CP - SP]
3990=19x20x=3990×2019=210×20=Rs.4200
So, the total cost price for Ashima = Rs. 3800 + Rs. 4200 = Rs. 8000
Ashima sold both coolers =Rs. 3990 × 2 = Rs. 7980
Here, CP > SP. So, Ashima has loss on overall transaction.
Loss = Rs. 8000 - Rs. 7980 = Rs. 20
Loss % = 208000×100=20008000=14%=0.25%
