Solution

The correct option is A 50
The ratio of the ₹2, ₹5 and ₹10 coins is 7:2:1.

Let the number of ₹2, ₹5 and ₹10 coins be 7x, 2x and x respectively.

Total amount = 7x×2+2x×5+x×10

According to question,
7x×2+2x×5+x×10=170
14x+10x+10x=170
34x=170
x=17034
(\Rightarrow x=5\)

So,
Number of 2 coins=7x=7×5=35
Number of 5 coins=2x=2×5=10
Number of 10 coins=x=5

Therefore, total number of coins with Rabi = 35 + 10 + 5 = ₹50
